The submission of statutory returns which includes P14's and P35's to the Inland Revenue and P60's to employees after the 5th April each year. If you employee sub-contractors this will include the filing of the CIS36 to the Inland Revenue.

Does the A1 Payroll Bureau provide a single point of contact?
Yes. You will be allocated a single point of contact whom you can deal with any day-to-day queries. If your allocated member of staff is absent or is taking annual leave, you will be notified at least two weeks in advance if possible and will be informed of your temporary member of staff.
I only have a few employees, why should I outsource my payroll?
The outsourcing of payroll is appropriate for most companies no matter the number of employees. All companies that employee staff must run a payroll scheme, unless CIS registered. I am a director of a Limited Company, do I need to operate a Payroll Scheme?
If you are a director of a Limited Company, we recommend setting up a PAYE scheme and paying your wage / salary each pay period rather than taking dividends. Dividends can work out a costly way of taking profits from your limited company. The reason for this is recent laws that have been introduce by the Inland Revenue specify that tax will be due from the date that the dividend was taken plus interest. What is a tax-free incentive, and who can apply for it?
A tax-free incentive is a something that someone can offer as a way of enticing someone to take something up. The tax-free incentive is something the Inland Revenue are offering to small employers. It is £825 tax free over the next five years by filing your payroll P14's and P35 online early as of this year. The incentive will be able to be claimed once the the P14's and P35 have been filed online before the date specified by the Inland Revenue and will be able to be credited back to our payroll account for future payments or a cheque can be issued by contacting your local tax office.
What is the cost involved in using the A1 Payroll Bureau?

What will I need to do as an Employer?
You will need to supply us the pay details for that particular pay period. This could be 'gross to net' or 'net to gross' figures and can include tax and non taxable employee expenses (i.e. petrol) and perhaps company cars if applicable.
We use both TAS and SAGE payroll software that has been accredited by the Inland Revenue. This allows us to produce computerised payroll which includes printed payslip's, Tax, National Insurance, etc calculations which are kept current with government parameters, printed payment history and all types of reports, etc.
